Advanced Esthetics Training

As the lead esthetician for a top Austin spa, it’s my job to evaluate the hands-on skills of potential job candidates. The minimum requirement to be interviewed for a position is one year’s experience., but I find the skill level of most of the candidates to be below expectations. Don’t lose opportunities or clients because of inadequate skills or training!

Esthetics is a hard field to crack because most schools offer a little bit of instruction and then send you out on the floor to figure it out! Without a lot of response from clients , you’re left to wonder if you’re doing it right or not. Too often clients give feedback with their feet--they just walk out and never come back!

I am a licensed esthetics instructor and an esthetician and massage therapist with more than 12 years experience. I have worked in the spa, in a medical setting, and in private practice.
